How Not To Do a Blue Kitchen, And How To Do

I found a kitchen which is just an opposite to what I would personally like (see my previous publication): As for me, there's too much of that deep dark blue color that is, I'd say, depressive. The only things that are good in it are it's spaciousness and practicality, but that's not enough. In my personal subjective opinion, this color palette just doesn't suit for kitchens, because it doesn't associate with food. Some may not agree with this, of course. So if you still want a deep blue kitchen, then here are a couple of examples how it can be done in a much less horrible fashion:
