Christmas Decoration for Your Bedroom

Have no time to find an interesting decoration for your bedroom? Then a Christmas wreath can always help you. You can say that it's too trivial, but a Christmas wreath is better than nothing, isn't it?

Let's Make Our Own Christmas Crafts

There are many different things that you can buy to decorate your home for Christmas. But it's cool to create some Christmas crafts with your own hands. Here are some simple examples of these:

Transforming Bed

Check out this transforming bed!

[Transforming bed]

It's a good idea for a cramped room to appear more spacious. On the other side, it isn't so comfortabaly to fold and unfold the bed every day. To my mind, this kind of a bed is an interesting option to consider, but it can't really replace a real bed.

An Elegant White and Black Kitchen

I don't know how about you, but I'm a big fan of a checkerboard floor. This is why I like this kitchen very much.

[An elegant kitchen with a checkerboard floor]

This marvellous floor fits into this interior quite well. The ceiling also adds some individuality to this room. And the clever furniture and accessories complete the look so nicely.

Tender Room for a Tender Girl

As for me, a classic kid's room for a girl is a pink and white one.

[A lovely pink and white girl's room]

This room is very graceful, elegant and not burdened with needless elements. Above the bed there is a mirror - one of the most important accessories for a little lady.

Autumn Impressions

This room looks extremely cosy because of these three things:

  1. totally warm colour palette;
  2. a soft, comfort and airy sofa;
  3. a beautiful autumn forest view.

This is the type of interior where you whould want to live and enjoy your home throughout your entire life...

A Fresh and Lovely Hallway

Wow! What a lovely hallway!

[A blue and white hallway]

First thing that grabs my attention is the perfect combination of details. Blue and white come together to give a really fresh scheme.

I'm totally in love with this nice and cute interior.

French Country Style

This interior is done in one of my favourites styles, French Country style:

French Country style has originated from scenic villages of the south of France. So, as for the color pallette, the most popular colors are soft green, lavender purple, bright yellow and gold, ivory, rust and red.

The most important features that associated with this design style are: wrought-iron railings, lamps and sconces, caned chairs, and of course the unpainted wooden beams.

Natural rustic wood (mainly dark) is often used, it occasionally may be painted in white or soft green. And sometimes (as in our case) stone elements can be used.

So, this is how French Country style brings simplisity, comfort and charm to your home.

Wall Decoration Idea

So, you have a wall that is too empty without something on it. Of course, you can always hang a picture on it, but are there any alternatives? Sure, they are, and here is one of them:

Big House, Fine Interior Design

When a house is big, it's equally great both for the owners, as for the interior designers. You can never have too much space, you know...

A Picnic Kitchen

What a wonderful idea to create a kitchen with a garden view!

I love it so much... In such a kitchen every meal is like a picnic and you get pleasure every time you come here.

A Bright Retro-Style Interior

Take a look at this retro-style room!

[A purple and golden retro-style interior]

I don't know how about you, but this kind of interior is not for me. First thing that has stroke my eyes is the bold purple wall that looks kind of depressing. The golden kitsch sofa and floral-themed decorations complete this retro-style interior.

Generally a mix of purple and golden elements should be a reasonably good designer decision, but in this particular case doubt is lingering me.

A Bold Bachelorette Interior

I'd call this interior a "bachelorette" style because of it's kind of half-baked, just as a young person's room should be. Young athmosphere definitely prevails in this room. But no closets, no drapes - not every girl can afford that, don't you think?

The designer's sofas and chairs are also done in the same style. And take a look at this great floor, it creates a sure impact here.

Children's Room with an Alcove and a Hidden Bed

Check out this children's room!

It's interesting at least for two of its features. The first thing, that grabbed my attention is the concealed bi-level bed. It's a great idea, isn't it? And second is the alcove bed. This kind of bed always gives some cosy and pretty feeling. And it's also very important and interesting for a child to have it's own corner, an imaginary little personal house for the kid.

The light and soft color palette is pleasant and calming. The furniture - which looks very smart and well-designed - completes the look. In such room kids will sleep sweet and will see only good dreams.

Main Features of the Indian Type of Oriental Design

Eastern (oriental) style interior design receives attention of more and more people all over the world. Indian is one of the most prominent of all the Eastern styles. It is interesting for its wealth look, elegance, romance and sensuality.

[Bright oriental room with a long couch and a lot of pillows on it, with a carpet on the wall]

The following features characterize the Indian style most of all:

  • Use of natural materials
  • Hand-made furniture with a lot of carving
  • Use of commodes and multifunctional chests, bedside tables
  • Furniture is always low, without legs and any acute angles
  • Peculiar features: some furniture items can be easily transformed and often change their location
  • Quiet colors for the walls, while accessories (such as pillows, figurines, carpets) are always bright, with a sense of celebration
  • The floor is usually light (made of light wood or an imitation of it)
  • Most fabrics are of course silk.

A Nice and Stylish Modern Interior

Here is an example of a well thought-out modern interior. It looks very stylish and attractive. And I think that I don't even need to comment this picture, as it just speaks for itself.

Fresh and Elegant Living Room

[A light living room with wicker armchairs and rounded windows]

The main motive of this interior is in it's airiness, which is achieved in several ways. There are the windows with rounded top (how I love them!), as well as the light colors and the wickers. Using white as an accent color and also a mixture of white and soft green gives a really fresh look. Wicker armchairs, sofa and basket suit this living room very well. And see how well the candles complement the look of this subtle interior.

Finally I found the pretty and elegant room I was looking for for a long time.

Red, White and Black Bedroom

Great bedroom!

[Red, black and white bedroom with bed canopy]

There are two reasons why I love it.

1. Red, black and white are the perfect color scheme for bedrooms.

2. Bed canopy gives bedrooms a romantic and cosy touch.

Classic Style Living Room In a Normal American Home

Today I've decided to choose an interior, the style of which is just the opposite of my previous publication.

[A pretty consistent classical style interior in someone's house]

This classic style living room looks gorgeous, just like a classic style interior should look. The furniture has a touch of luxury, as well as the fireplace, the large carpet, the fanciful curtains, and the pictures in frames. Everything is shiny, there is a lot of light, and those ivory and golden colors and floral motives are right in place as well.

The style of the whole room is very consistent, and nothing sticks out of it. And that's why the overall ambiance of this traditional style interior is homey and comfortable.

A Controversial Colorful Kitchen

Who said that an interesting interior should be an elaborate designer's masterpiece? Look at this colorful and lively kitchen:

[A colorful and lively kitchen with a lot of bright details]

As for me, its success is in its ingenuous simplicity. The main rule is to take away any rules. The owners of this kitchen enjoy their life and try to add a lot of bright details to their life without spending much. Did they succeed?

Unforgettable Play Area for Kids: the "At Play Cafe"

Today we'll visit the "At Play Cafe" by "Kidtropolis". As you remember, it's a very creative company that makes custom furniture for kid's rooms.

[Play area for kids: main view]

The "At Play Cafe" is designed to fit the lifestyle and interest of the most freakish children. It is built as a small village where the kids have their own market, firehouse and theater. Do you remember yourself as a kid pretending to be a singer or a salesman?

You can give your children a holiday for every day to bring something like it into your home! Why not? Be sure: your kids will surely appreciate it.

[Play area for kids: theater]

[Play area for kids: club house]

And another essential aspect is the safety of your kids. You should definitely take it into account when creating the play area. As they say at "Kidtropolis", "each corner of this structure has been thoughtfully reviewed to ensure that a fun time can be had without concern for harm, edges have been covered or rounded and each element has been added or customized to be safe for all ages".

Hand-made decorations... Wow!

The use of hand-made decorations has always been cool. And in this particular case it is especially so. See how masterfully did the designer insert these knit items into this room, and how solid and stylish the result is.

Burj Al Arab, one of the most expensive luxury hotels

Burj Al Arab is one of the most expensive and luxury hotel all over the world. It located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and it was built to resemble the shape of a sail of a dhow, a type of Arabian vessel. It is also the second tallest building in the world used exclusively as a hotel. The hotel cost $650 million to build. So, there are no usual rooms. All the 202 rooms are premium class suites. One day in the most cheap room costs about $2000.

At the entrance you can see the fountan stairs with two escalators on its sides:

While riding an escalator you are delighted with two grand aquariums which are built into the wall:

The inside of the hotel presents its viewers some truly surrealistic views:

The lobby looks tiny when you see it from the above:

Here is what you can see right after you enter your expensive suite:

Lots of gold everywhere:

A "Good Morning" bedroom

As you know, a good morning is a foundation for a good day. How great it is to get up in the morning and see your beloved person on a backdrop of nature.

[A bedroom with a lot of large windows that create an illusion of sleeping in a garden]

So, this should be an idea bedroom to ensure good mood for as many days of a year as possible. And when you want some privacy, just draw down the window blinds, and voila!

A handy and stylish item for your interior

How often we find ourselves in search for some small things in places like drawers, where digging is the only way to find anything. But there is a different approach to store your small-sized belongings.

[A solution to store small items in pockets on the wall]

How handy: all you need is right within your eyesight, and besides its utility this kind of a shelf (or how do you call it?) is utterly stylish. And finally, this thing looks like you can do it yourself, which is a very interesting aspect as well.

Civilization in disguise

How about to bring some ocean motives into your bathroom? Make it look like a shack in an exotic place far from any civilization... But still have all the comforts of a modern home.

[A modern bathroom that is made to looks like a part of an old school countryside shack]

I envy those who have that level of creative imagination that it takes to create an interior like this one!
